Our Commitment to Reconciliation

The land on which our church building sits and where we live out our ministry is land which has been lived on and walked on for thousands of years. It is the traditional territory of the Anishnabe, Haudenosaunee and Huron-Wendat peoples and more recently, the Metis, and the Mississaugas of the Credit. May our worship honour the relationships that are celebrated and invited here, and may we always remember the story of this land, the people who live here, and the call to live with respect and thanksgiving.

Erindale United Church

Erindale United Church is a diverse congregation with folk of all ages that gather for Worship every Sunday morning, beginning at 10:30 am.
We have served the Springfield/Erindale area since 1877. We acknowledge that the land which we now care for has been the traditional territory of the Huron-Wendat and Petun First Nations, the Seneca, the Anishnaabe (Mississaugas of the Credit First Nation), the Haudenosaunee, the Cree, and other forgotten nations whose activities went before them. We acknowledge the treaties that this land’s settler ancestors made with many of the First Nations peoples.

Come, join us Sundays at Erindale United. Surrounded by the grace of God, we are a believing and inclusive group of Christians that worships, prays, praises, welcomes and supports, smiles and laughs. :-)
Call us at 905-277-3656.

Our Services

Our Services begin at 10:30 am, and end about 11:30 am. Afterwards, please meet with us for coffee and conversation. Our Worship is a blend of traditional and contemporary music, with liturgy reflecting the diversity of the congregation. Children are most welcome, and a worship bag is provided for them to use before Sunday School. Our services are "come as you are". Some prefer to get dressed up, while others are more casual.   Students from the nearby UTM Campus (Mississauga Campus of the University of Toronto) will receive a warm welcome from our congregation.

MISSION STATEMENT

Erindale United Church is a people of God.
We embrace, proclaim and practice the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
We seek justice for all people, striving to become a loving, nurturing and ministering community.
