Join a friendly group of a dozen or so folk who meet in the McGill Room weekly for an “hour” or so of stories and conversation over coffee from 10 am to 11:30 am during the months of September – June. The things we chat about range from life events, Church topics, to current events, arts and culture. Sometimes, when the minister is present we discuss religious topics.
Sharing experiences by telling stories, jokes and recalling memories of the history we were part of can lead to meaningful moments and insight into life’s challenges - including the repeated attacks by a determined woodpecker on the siding of the house of one of the members of this open group. Come and hear the latest updates to this ongoing woodpecker saga.
The picture below was taken December 16, 2016, and includes most of the regular members of this group. The last meeting of the group for the "Spring" will be Friday, June 23 (a few days after Mid-Summer's Day), and we will resume meetings for the "Fall" on Friday, September 8 at 10 am.
